Hackathon Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy

At Trionova Technologies Pvt Ltd, we respect and protect intellectual property (IP) rights in all activities associated with our Hackathon events. This policy explains ownership, usage rights, and responsibilities regarding content, projects, and materials created or shared during the Hackathon.
1. Ownership of Participant Creations
- All code, designs, prototypes, documents, and solutions developed by participants during the Hackathon remain the intellectual property of the respective participants or teams.
- Trionova does not claim ownership over participant-created projects.
- However, by participating, teams grant Trionova a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to showcase project titles, descriptions, screenshots, demo videos, and team details for promotional, educational, or reporting purposes.
2. Use of Participant Materials
- Any logos, data, images, text, or materials brought by participants remain their property.
- Participants are solely responsible for ensuring they have the legal right to use any third-party materials included in their submissions.
3. Use of Open-Source and Third-Party Tools
- Participants may use open-source software, APIs, and third-party tools only in compliance with the respective license terms.
- Any licensing obligations, restrictions, or compliance requirements related to such tools are the responsibility of the participants.
4. Protection of Trionova’s Content
- All Hackathon-related materials provided by Trionova — including branding, website content, event resources, training materials, and documentation — are protected under copyright laws.
- Unauthorized copying, distribution, or modification of Trionova’s official content is strictly prohibited without prior written permission.
5. Respect for Third-Party Rights
- Participants must not submit projects that infringe on any copyright, trademark, patent, or other intellectual property rights of third parties.
- Trionova reserves the right to disqualify entries found to violate IP laws or ethical standards.
6. Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you believe any project or content associated with the Hackathon infringes your copyright, you may contact us at info@trionova.in with:
- A description of the copyrighted work
- Proof of ownership
- Details of the alleged infringement
Trionova will review the matter and take appropriate action where necessary.
7. Policy Updates
This policy may be updated periodically to reflect legal, technical, or event-related changes. Updates will be communicated through official Hackathon or company channels.
