These Terms and Conditions, along with our Privacy Policy and any other applicable policies, constitute a legally binding agreement between Trionova Technologies Private Limited (“Trionova”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) and the participant (“you” or “participant”). These Terms govern your registration, access, and participation in the Hackathon organized by Trionova Technologies. By registering for or participating in the Hackathon, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not register or participate. We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Participants are responsible for reviewing the Terms periodically.
1. Eligibility and Participant Responsibilities
- Participants must provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration.
- Participants are responsible for all activities conducted under their registration or team profile.
- You agree to follow all Hackathon rules, guidelines, and schedules communicated by Trionova.
- Any unlawful, unethical, disruptive, or fraudulent behavior may result in immediate disqualification.
2. Participation Rules and Event Conduct
- The Hackathon is intended for learning, innovation, and collaboration. Participants must maintain professional and respectful conduct.
- Trionova reserves the right to modify the event format, schedule, judging criteria, or rules if necessary.
- Failure to comply with event instructions or deadlines may lead to disqualification.
3. Intellectual Property
- Participants retain ownership of the intellectual property (IP) for solutions developed during the Hackathon.
- By participating, you grant Trionova a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to showcase project summaries, team names, and non-confidential details for promotional or educational purposes.
- Participants must ensure that their submissions do not infringe upon third-party intellectual property rights.
4. Use of Third-Party Tools and Resources
Participants may use third-party tools, APIs, or resources only in compliance with the respective providers’ terms. Trionova is not responsible for restrictions, failures, or issues arising from such services.
5. Fees, Payments, and Refunds
- If the Hackathon involves registration fees, participants agree to pay all applicable charges at the time of registration.
- Refunds, if applicable, will be handled according to the Hackathon Cancellation & Refund Policy.
- Failure to submit refund requests within the stated timelines will result in forfeiture of the claim.
6. Disqualification
Trionova reserves the right to disqualify any participant or team for:
- Violation of these Terms or event rules
- Plagiarism or use of unauthorized materials
- Misconduct, harassment, or disruptive behavior
- Providing false registration information
7. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
- The Hackathon and related materials are provided on an “as-is” basis without warranties of any kind.
- Trionova is not liable for technical issues, internet failures, device incompatibility, or participant-side problems.
- In no event shall Trionova be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation.
- Trionova is not responsible for delays or cancellations due to circumstances beyond its control (force majeure).
8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
