Hackathon Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Trionova Technologies Pvt Ltd, hackathon registrations, participation slots, and related event services are considered intangible and time-bound offerings. Due to event planning, logistics, and resource allocation, cancellations and refunds are limited and governed by the policy below. All refund decisions remain at the sole discretion of Trionova Technologies.
Cancellation Policy
- Once a participant or team has successfully registered and payment (if applicable) has been completed, the registration is considered confirmed.
- Cancellations will not be accepted after event preparation activities (such as participant confirmation, team listings, resource allocation, or event access sharing) have begun.
- If a cancellation request is made before event preparation begins, Trionova may review the request and approve it at its discretion.
Refund Policy
Refunds will only be considered under the following circumstances:

1. Event Cancellation by Trionova
If the hackathon is cancelled, postponed indefinitely, or not conducted due to reasons solely attributable to Trionova Technologies, a partial or full refund may be processed.

2. Technical or Administrative Error by Trionova
If a participant is unable to access the event or participate due to a verified technical or administrative issue caused solely by Trionova, a partial refund may be considered after review.

3. No Refund for Participant Withdrawal
If a participant or team chooses to withdraw after registration, no refund will be provided, regardless of the reason.

4. No Refund for Event Participation
Once the hackathon has started, event materials have been shared, or access credentials have been issued, refunds will not be entertained.

5. Third-Party or External Factors
Refunds will not be applicable for issues arising from internet failures, device incompatibility, third-party platforms, travel issues, visa problems, or any participant-side technical limitations.
Refund Request Process
- All refund requests must be submitted in writing to info@trionova.in within 7 days of registration and before the event start date.
- Requests must include participant details, registration proof, and a clear explanation of the issue.
- Trionova will review each case, and if approved, refunds will be processed within 16–30 business days.
- In exceptional circumstances, partial refunds may be granted at Trionova’s sole discretion.
This policy ensures fair handling of participant concerns while protecting the planning, resources, and operational efforts involved in organizing the hackathon.
